We have to run stock metric rear, we currently have a 2.56 r & p in a series 2 carrier i think...I wanna go to a 3.73 r & p. Do I need the thick gears or the regular size with a spacer ???

I've ran this combo before with the stock sey up Just went thru it bearings nseals etc and made sure my specs were right I just/ don't understand tracks not allowing 9 in in all cars Much safer Can you run a c clip eliminator ?

I posted a reply but dunno where it went....

3 options:

Existing carrier with spacer and normal gears
Existing carrier and thick gears
Correct carrier (Series 3) and normal gears

I would run a spacer last of those options.
