Would you rather have your percentages right on and have your car weight 150 lbs over the limit or have your percentages a little off and be right at the limit?
Get the percentage right.

Thank you for the response. I kind of have a dilemma. I race IMCA and im a pretty big guy. (240 lbs) I talked to my chassis builder and he said to do scaling without driver. And said my rear should be 56.5-57.5 % without me in the car. But this was also based on a lighter driver. I have the same dilemma with left side weight. Im not sure what i should have for the weight difference?
I recommend my customers with ur body weight to scale with driver in car. Is this a 4bar car? Where u run ?

Yes it is a 4 bar car both sides. I run up in North Dakota. What should i shoot for numbers with my weight in the car?

Most chassis builders say to have the %'s based on a 200lbs driver. Since your 240, i would set 40lbs in the seat then set the car the way they say to. Then take the 40lbs out and use that as your base setup.
