We are running a Afco 600-2000 progressive on our pull bar. It is single stage, no bushings. I am wondering what people out there are running for pre-load on tacky, and if they are changing it going to dry-slick. We are in wissota country with a 4 bar car, and could use some traction off the.corner, like I'm sure everyone else could! Any thoughts appreciated!

Take the progressive out. We put one on the spring checker once and were shocked to see how fast it came in with a short amount of travel.

Like how fast are you talking? 1500 lbs. @ 1 1/2 in.? What spring did you go to?

throw away that progressive spring! cheap solution is just change out to a 1200 or better yet call me and I can get you hooked up with one of our complete pull bars.

Ok, so besides buying a new bar... What are guys doing out there? We have a 3 stage we could throw on, but not sure which spring works best with the rubber bushings.. any thoughts?

I run an eibach 500-1500 progressive, med bushings, 1/2 to 3/4 gap, no preload on the spring. Travels about 1 1/2 on g60, dry slick.
