The ULTIMATE Super Late Model Series Heads for ULTIMATE Tennessee NAPA Know How Showdown Doubleheader

Carnesville, Georgia – Coming off a successful doubleheader weekend the ULTIMATE Super Late Model Series will roll right back into another doubleheader this Memorial Day Weekend. The Series will take on a pair of new-to-the-series venues in 411 Speedway located in Seymour, Tennessee and Smoky Mountain Speedway located in Maryville, Tennessee. Both Eastern Tennessee tracks will feature $4000 to win / 40-lap ULTIMATE Super Late Model Series events. “There’s always something a little special about going to a racetrack for the first time and we are experiencing that a lot this year with ULTIMATE. I am extremely proud that we have been able to expand into these new markets and bring the ULTIMATE drivers to some new facilities. We are very excited about 411 and Smoky Mountain this weekend as we have had such a great response to their addition to the schedule.” said Stan Lester owner of the ULTIMATE Super Late Model Series.

The close proximity of the two will also offer drivers the opportunity to race for two good purses with the same rules without much travel. In fact the two tracks are only located about 15 miles apart and have worked together this year on all of their special events including the NAPA Know How ULTIMATE Showdown. “411 and Smoky Mountain have really been smart in how they have stacked their special events together and worked to promote them together. It makes a lot of sense with the current state of our economy. It just works to get out the information and help each other rather than working against each other. They have got a great system going.” said ULTIMATE Series Director Kelley Carlton.

On Friday night the ULTIMATE Super Late Models will tackle the 411 Motor Speedway in Seymour, Tennessee. 411 is a fast, exciting 3/8 mile banked dirt track nestled on the foothills of beautiful Chilhowee Mountain. 411 Speedway will feature a full card of racing on Friday night with the $4000 to win / 40-lap ULTIMATE Super Late Model event as the headliner. To learn more about ticket prices, directions and support divisions point your web browsers to www.411motorspeedway.net or call the 411 Motor Speedway Office at (865)257-7223.

Saturday the ULTIMATE Supers will head for the historic ½ mile Smoky Mountain Speedway located in Maryville, Tennessee. Smoky Mountain has a rich racing history rooted in NASCAR and the early days of dirt racing having had the likes of Pearson, Allison, Waltrip, Lund and Petty all make competitive laps around the half mile. Now Smoky Mountain is operated as a special events facility that hosts many of the top touring series from around the region and country. The ULTIMATE Supers will also headline their card with another $4000 to win / 40-lap event which will also feature Crate Late Models, Modified Minis and Mini Stocks. Go to www.smokymountainspeedway.com for more details or call the track at (865) 856-8989.
