Brady Smith Sees Rain at Cedar Lake; Appalachian Mountain Speedweek on Horizon
(SOLON SPRINGS, WISCONSIN) Brady Smith and his #2 team traveled to the renowned Cedar Lake Speedway in New Richmond, Wisconsin on Saturday night, May 19 for a weekly NASCAR Late Model program. Brady started near the back of his heat race and advanced up to third in his prelim, which locked him into the $1,000 to win feature event. Unfortunately, inclement weather invaded the area prior to the A-Main and wiped out the remainder of the show.
The Brady Smith Racing team will now enjoy the Memorial Day holiday weekend away from the racetrack, while prepping their equipment for an ultra-busy start to the month of June. Brady has recently decided that he will follow the Appalachian Mountain Speedweek (AMS) from June 1-6. In all, six Dirt Late Model events will be held at six different venues in the states of Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Virginia in consecutive days.
