Ball joints & S7 spindles.

We just put the new s7 spindles on our smackdown car and I was wondering if they use the existing upper ball joints or if they are a different taper? I'm asking because the ball joints don't appear to be pulling thru the spindle enough and I cant get the nut drawn up enough to put a cotter key thru it.

Should be the same unless you got one that wasn't drilled right. We did get one once that had a drop of weld splatter down in the taper. Filed it out and it was good to go.
