Had the same problem. Locktite and safety wire fixed it.

Kinda ghetto but it worked for us one night. We wrapped around the outside with good ole 100 mph duct tape so they couldnt back out. Then we bought new nuts and it solved the problem.

Have you got a driveshaft that is bent or out of balance?

drive line issue most likely the drive shaft as posted earlier check the u joints and yoke also.did you check the backlash at the ring and pinion?

if you can't feel the vibration in the seat it's not the drive shaft. Your teeth will hurt all week long if a drive shaft is bent. It may be the yoke could be bent to wish is working them loose. Check the axles and even the drive flanges to make sure nothing is bad there.

Make sure the bearings in the cover are ok, I had one that would intermittently sieze up but the shaft would still spin on the inside race . just something else to check, otherwise put the nut locks on and go race .

Check for bent lower shaft,or bearings on lower shaft. Both will make bad things happen to cover and gear set. Ed B.

Kevin Weaver had this problem earlier this year with a Winters rear end. He could only go about 12 laps before the bolts starting loosing up, causing an oil leak. The problem was the gasket had too much "squish". Changing the gasket type and or manufacturer fixed the problem.

I use a gasket most the time, but like a header gasket I have had the best luck with high temp silicon goop out of a tube, messy yes, seals forever just about.
