FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Frankland Racing Supply & TC Race Cars Offer Bonuses for “Superthunder Road” at Hesston June 10!

(Hesston, PA) Frankland Racing Supply and TC Race Cars will boost the awards for drivers at Hesston for Speedmonster vs. 3 State Flyers “Superthunder Road” on Sunday June 10. Both companies will provide gift cards on top of the massive $33,000 payoff scheduled for the event!

Frankland Racing Supply of Saxonburg, PA will award $75 gift cards to the top 25 Super Late Model drivers that do not qualify for the event. Along with the $155 guaranteed payoff for non-qualifiers, this will increase the total value for those positions to $230. Additionally, Semi-LM Sportsman (limited/steel block/crate late models) finishing in positions 8-24 and non-qualifiers for that class will receive a $75 Frankland gift card. The Semi-LM Sportsman is scheduled to pay $125 to start and $100 for non qualifiers, so the Frankland bonus will increase the value of those positions to $200 to start and $175 for non-qualifiers.

TC Race Cars of Frostburg, MD will also up the stakes for Super Late Model drivers at “Superthunder Road.” Super Late Model heat race winners will receive a $50 gift card for their products. Both companies are showing their dedication to the racers that use their products by offering these bonus awards.

Speedmonster vs. 3 State Flyers “Superthunder Road” was moved to Sunday, June 10 after a huge thunderstorm washed out the event on May 27. 127 cars had signed into the pits on the original date including 45 Super Late Models and 27 Semi-LM Sportsman for a total of 72 late model-type cars. A complete new draw will be held on June 10, so any new entries are welcome.

The S³/3SF Super Late Models will pay $5,100 to win, $400 to start and $155 for non-qualifiers plus a $75 Frankland card to the top 25 non-qualifiers and $50 TC Race Cars bonus for heat race winners. Semi-Late Model Sportsman (limited/crate/steel block late models) will pay $1,000 to win, $125 to start and $100 for non-qualifiers plus a $75 Frankland card to drivers finishing 8th to 24th and non-qualifiers. Additionally a $200 bonus is being offered to the 1st crate late model with a top 5 finish at the race. A-Cadets (street/pro-stock) will pay $575 to win, $75 to start and $60 for non-qualifiers. Hobby-Modifieds will pay $300 to win, $50 to start and $40 for non-qualifiers in a feature-only format.

Payoff for the Roadrunners (4-cylinder stock fwd) has been increased in the back of the field. This divsion will pay $200 to win and now $45 to start and $36 for non-qualifiers in a feature-only format.

The Speedmonster Super Series consists of 6 events at Hesston only leading to “The Ultiamte” in October. The Speedmonster champion will receive $2,000 from the $5,000 total point fund. This point fund is courtesy of Hoosier Tire Mid-Atlantic, American Racer, Lias Tire and Precise Racing Products. This point fund is being paid IN ADDITION to the 3 State Flyers $3,000 to win Niningers Tire & Auto Point Fund. With no conflicting races between the 2 series and 4 of the 6 Speedmonste races including 3 State Flyers, drivers can run for BOTH point funds in 2012!

Integrated, multi-option rules sets for the Super Late Models, Semi-Late Model Sportsman, A-Cadets and Hobby-Modifieds will make virtually every car in the regional legal and competitive for the Speedmonster events. Weight breaks and spoiler variances are used to equalize competition. Full rules can be found on the track website .hesstonspeedway.com
Speedmonster/Hesston rules apply for the Super Late Models at all 2012 Hesston events. Super Late Models will run under an open compound tire rule.
