COMP Cams Super Dirt Series Invades Riverside This Saturday
Beebe, Arkansas (05/30/12) – The COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) Super Late Model tour will sanction the Bartlett Hardwood Floor Service Spring Fling 40 this Saturday at Parts Plus Riverside International Speedway (West Memphis, Arkansas).
With seven events in the books it's still tour rookie, Robert Baker, who leads the standings with Jon Mitchell, Brandon Smith, Curtis Cook, Johnny Virden, Kyle Beard, Larry Campbell, Jon Kirby, Keith Lawson, and Billy Moyer Jr. rounding out the top ten in the current standings.
Robert Baker also continues to lead the Kuntz & Co. Rookie of the Year standings over Chandler Petty and Kenneth Jackson.
A strong contingent of local and regional drivers are expected to take on the touring drivers including current Riverside International Speedway Late Model point's leader, TJ Hughes, along with Clay Fisher, Mark Stephens, Ross Camponovo, Shane Harris, Mike Bilbro, Nathan Brown, Mike Carr, Justin Glover, Bill Tedford, Dalton Alexander, Ricky Vandergriff, Jamie Dacus, Dale Armstrong, Thomas Dacus, and more.
This Saturday night, June 2nd the CCSDS will roll into the historic, Riverside International Speedway (West Memphis, Arkansas) for the Bartlett Hardwood Floor Service Spring Fling 40. This marks the first of two appearances for the tour at the legendary oval in 2012. In 2011 Austin Rettig and Wendell Wallace split wins at the facility. The program will be headlined by time trials, heat races, b-main, and a 35 lap feature that will pay $2,000-to-win/$400-to-start event. Also in action will be Street Stocks, Open Wheel Modifieds, 305 Wingless Sprint Cars, and 600cc Mini Sprints. Gates open at 5pm with hot laps at 6pm and racing action at 7:30pm.
