Double Header for SLMR this Weekend
The Malvernbank.com “Race for the Safe” SLMR Series will be busy this weekend. First on Friday, June 8 the SLMR will be racing at the I-80 Speedway near Greenwood, Nebraska in their third race of the season. The following night the series will travel to the Adams County Speedway in Corning, Iowa. Currently Mike Collins of Council Bluffs, Iowa leads the SLMR point race. Leon Zeitner of LaVista is just 8 points back. Justin Zeitner is in third 12 points back with Corey Zeitner and Travis (not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word)es tied for fourth 22 points behind.
So far this year Jason O’Brien of Atlantic, Iowa and Mike Collins have picked up wins in the series. The SLMR series will be receiving two provisional for the upcoming Silver Dollar Nationals to be held on July 19 thru 21 at I-80 Speedway. The winner of the July 9 SLMR race at the Adams County Speedway is also guaranteed a starting spot in the Silver Dollar Nationals
