This Saturday June 9th, 2012, The Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series will invade Fayetteville Motor Speedway with a $4,000 paycheck up for grabs. This event will be the inaugural "Al Lucas Memorial". Al Lucas was a long time Coca-Cola soft drink distributor who spent decades serving the Cape Fear Region. Mr. Lucas was a dedicated race fan & he loved racing, from dirt to asphalt. He supported race tracks, racers and fans. Mr. Lucas passed away in March of 2012. This race will be the first of many races dedicated to the Wade, NC resident.
Also on tap for June 9th, FMS will feature racing in the following divisions: Limited Late Model, Open Wheel Modified, Super Street, Pure Stock, U-Car & Micro Sprints.
Pit Gates will open at 3 p.m. with Grandstand Gates opening at 4 p.m. with practice set to begin at 7 p.m.
FMS will be having gates prizes & drawings for the fans! The Coca-Cola Simulator will be on hand as well.
Admission Prices will be as follows for this event:
Pits- $30.00 (Adults) Kids 12 & Under- Free
Grandstands- $20.00 (Adults) Seniors & Military- $18.00 ~ Kids- 6 to 12 are $2.00 and Kids 6 & Under are Free
VIP Tickets are $30.00
YOU CAN USE YOUR PIT ARMBANDS & GRANDSTAND TICKETS FROM THE CAROLINA CLASH RAINOUT THAT OCCURED ON 05-03-12 THIS WEEKEND OR YOU CAN USE THEM ON 06-30-12 (NEXT CLASH EVENT) ONLY!
