is it best to float the brakes on right or left an why,...if brakes not floated would you want them made to bird cage or rear housing?? just trying to learn more bout this....

brake floaters are used for handling but they are very different from left to right,left will keep it up on the bars (it kind off frees it up in but drags the lr tire depending on the bar angle so some will say it tightens it up)on the right it will really tighten her up on entry,this also depends on bar angle too,of coarse this all depends on how much brake you use and when and where you use the brake,some people love them some hate um,all i can say for sure is only try one side at a time

thanks for reply,..got a 98 BWRC round tube 4 bar chassis that im piecing back together an needing a rear end an bird cages an as high price as these parts are i wanta get right stuff the 1st time...just am getting started in raceing,..in a leaf spring super street now trying to get BWRC ready for crates by next season...
