I know that there are alot of ways to cheat the Dyno, With that said, What are the LEGIT builders getting for a sbc 365cu in or less with shp block and 23 degree steel heads...Can run dry sumps, can port and polish heads and cut polish intakes, roller cams. Must use Msd 6aln....using the vp 113 with oxygen..... Also what are they getting for hp in a sbf must use 20 degree heads no 9* heads up to 365 cu in. Also no raised runner heads.....most run dart platinuims...200-230.(forgot to put this up with original post, sorry.

I am interested in true numbers......So Dynoman14 stay off the post!

My last 360ci steelhead was 685hp on B&B dyno.It was a 4.180 bore in a bowtie 1184 block, deck was cut down 100 thousands for weight,50mm roller bearings, winberg 3.280 honda journal with 283 mains,6 inch lentz 545 gram rods,je dome pistons with. 043-.043-3mm ring package, rhs raised runner ported heads that ended up at 245cc,2.08-1.60 titanium valves, .937 jesel keyway roller lifters, comp cam 256-262-106 roller cam, crower 1.90-1.80 shaft rockers with 1.75 pivot length,gm 1104 ported intake, drysump, msd.Belongs to a dude in Cullman,Alabama now.Billy Ogle Jr ran it 4 times with 3wins and a second before I sold it.

The RHS raised runner head is a bad ass head for that style of combo and is very equivalent to the N351 ford headed combo which is illegal per your rules due to valve angle. 650-680.

i got 480/410 on frank goods chassis dyno in mooresville nc a while back. but it was about 95 degrees outside. with a blake carb vs his carb basically the same. sae smoothing. vp 110, platinum 215's i dont know if thats good or not. a nothin special 23 degree flat top motor for limited racing. he is a great dude and has lots of his own stuff for you to back to back dyno has everything you need there to run a dirt car. he has asphalt wheels to go on the back but there w 5 wheels. he used to rent space from doug herberts top fuel garage thats how i met him i think he is still with herbert. if your near mooresville nc i recomend talking w him. not to expensive, i think we made 6 pulls for $300 around 2.5 hrs i think. picked up about 50 hp there and he showed me alot about servicing the ignition and carb to help it real nice guy.

Don't you all think that if someone could get some good 14* iron heads you should be able to see 750-775 HP?? If not more with good port work...

Not out of the realm of possibilities with all the right goodies.
