SOUTHERN ALL STAR DIRT RACING SERIES PR#25

EASTABOGA, AL—The B J Parker Memorial Southern All Star Dirt Racing Series event scheduled for tonight at the Talladega Short Track has been rescheduled for Saturday night June 23rd at 7:30 pm
“The National Weather Service is forecasting a 90% chance of rain moving into the area later this afternoon and instead of having to work around a forecast like that and have all the teams that travel with the series get of the road and head down here, we decided in the best interest of all the parities involved to postpone the event till June 23rd,” said TST promoter Lynn Phillips. “This is a big event for us and we want to do it right for us and the series and we did not need to be fighting a chance of rain all night and have a big mess on our hands dealing with that, so we will come back on June 23rd and have a big time here at Talladega Short Track.”
The next event on the Southern All Star schedule will be Saturday night June 16th with the series second visit to the Smoky Mountain Speedway in Maryville, TN., for the 2nd Annual Big Daddy 500 presented by Tennessee RV.
