On a swing arm car, the RR is currently angled in at the top but have a mount to run straight up and down what effects will this have on the car? thanks

i would leave it inboard. when its inboard it make the spring act progressive and it always worked better than straight up and down when we ran swingarm cars.

in softens your effective spring rate, straight up stiffens it. But also angling in moves the roll center. if LR is straight up, and you angle RR in, it moves roll center left making it "easier" for car to roll over. Going straight up moves it back to the right, not only stiffening spring but increasing effectiveness of suspension, so car won't roll over as much.
