Vic Hill UNSTOPPABLE in Southern All Stars Dirt Racing Series stop at Smoky Mountain

MARYVILLE, TN (June 16, 2012)—Can Vic Hill be stopped at Smoky Mountain Speedway?
That seems to be the theme as the 2012 season rolls on in full force for the Southern All Stars Dirt Racing Series as Vic Hill made a clean sweep of competition at Smoky Mountain Speedway in Maryville, TN on Saturday Night June 16thcollecting $5,000 during the Second Annual Big Daddy 500 presented by Tennessee R.V. Sales & Service.
This made Hill’s second SAS win of the season, third of his career. His previous season victory came during a dominating performance of the April 14th SAS event at Smoky Mountain Speedway. Hill was VP Race Fuels Fast Qualifier and led the entire distance of the 50-lapper. Hill drove the Landair Transport, Pilot Travel Centers, Orthopedic Institute of Western Kentucky, Outlaw Race Parts and VP Racing Fuels sponsored Vic Hill Racing Engines powered Warrior Race Car to the victory.
One red flag on the opening lap which collected more than half the field held the event for near 15 minutes while four caution flags slowed the event on lap 0 for a multi-car accident in turn three and then on lap 14 as Jeff Franklin looped his mount on the inside berm of turn two and lap 30 as Rick Rogers spun as Vic Hill was approaching to lap him then the final yellow was lap 31 as Chad Ogle came to rest on the front chute.
