The Southern Regional Racing Series's "Five Town Showdown" is rapidly approaching.

The SRRS will be at four tracks over the course of six days. The SRRS will be invading Duck River Speedway, where the series will be making its long awaited return on Thursday June 28th.

**Just announced: SRRS will also be at Duck River Raceway Park on FRIDAY JUNE 29TH for another $3,000 to win event.

On Saturday night (June 30th), the SRRS will be at Smoky Mountain Speedway.

On Monday night, the SRRS travel to 411 Motor Speedway for a $3,000 to win event.

The SRRS Five Town Showdown FINALE $4,000 to win event is Tuesday night at Wartburg Speedway. On July 3rd( Tuesday night), we will crown the Showdown Champion and hand out points money.

We are pleased to announce that there will be a points fund for the top 5 finishers in the Showdown. A huge thanks to Landers Quality Recappers, A+ Moving&Storage, and R&D Fabrication for sponsoring our points fund.

**Remember points was based on the occurrence of all 5 events; there will be a revision.**

*Boyd's Speedway: All super late models must have an approved muffler on both sides (no exceptions). All cars will be inspected. No muffler = no racing. Any car that loses a muffler will be disqualified. This is a rule for BOYD'S SPEEDWAY ONLY!!!!

REMINDER: 411 Motor Speedway has moved their SRRS Five Town Showdown event to MONDAY NIGHT.

The SRRS will now have Sunday off before the last two Five Town Showdown events.

Special format: All cars will qualify and heat race. Details will be given in drivers meeting.

Drivers: To be eligible for Showdown points money, you have to attend ALL 5 events

Tech and Registration times for Showdown events:
Duck River: 5:00 PM to 6:45 PM
Boyd's : 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM EASTERN
Smoky Mountain: 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM EASTERN TIME
411 Motor: 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM EASTERN TIME

The Southern Regional Racing Series would like to send a HUGE THANK YOU to Duck River Raceway Park for stepping up and taking the originally cancelled June 29th event.


Now if racefans had to work Thursday night and were not able to make the SRRS event, you can now come on Friday night and enjoy some SRRS racing at Duck River.


Also for the fans: The SRRS will be qualifying AND heat racing all cars.
