Wheel, TN (06/27/2012) – Duck River Raceway Park, LLC will now be racing two nights Thurs. June 28th with the SRRS $3000 To-Win, Plus All Classes and Fri. June 29th with the SRRS $3000 To-Win, Plus All Classes Racing. It will be a full program both nights.

Admission pricing to both races will be: General Admission: Single Day Pass $15 or 2 Day Pass $25. Pit Admission: Single Day Pass $30 or 2 Day Pass $55.

Gates Open at 4pm Drivers Meeting at 7pm and Racing starts immediately after drivers meeting. General Admission will be Single Day Pass $15or 2 Day Pass $25 Kids 6-12 $5 and Kids 5 and under Free. SRRS Returns to Duck River Raceway Park, LLC on Thursday June 28th, 2012

Wheel, TN (06/21/2012) – Duck River Raceway Park, LLC formally known as (Duck River Speedway) in Wheel, Tn. is counting down the days to the new beginnings of the speedway, starting with the return of the Southern Regional Racing Series (SRRS) on Thursday June 28th, 2012 with over $14,000 up for grabs, under the new ownership of Bob Harris and race operations of David Gentry.

On Thursday June 28th, 2012 the Southern Regional Racing Series (SRRS) Super Late Models will be making their long overdue trip return back to Duck River Raceway Park. SRRS events in the previous years at Duck River have produced some of the most exciting and memorable moments for fans, the speedway and the series. Over $14,000 in prize money is up for grabs for the super late models, Dixon Plumbing will sponsor fast time awards $200 for super late models and $100 for the 2 barrel late models. All Regular Divisions will be racing. Classes Running on Thursday June 28th, include: Super Late Models, 2 Barrel Late Models, Pure Stock, Outlaw Pony, Pure Pony, Rookie Pony and Mini Mods.

Many big changes are under development at Duck River Raceway Park, LLC. Fans and racers will see a few come Thursday June 28th, 2012. Several, much needed renovations plus new things will be happening at the raceway in the upcoming months going into next year’s 2013 season, which will mark 40 years of racing at Duck River Raceway Park, LLC.

Getting several interest from drivers coming from a far to race that have never been or haven't been back there in years. It's shaping up to be a great debut of the fresh new start for Duck River Raceway Park,LLC. The new owner and crew have been very hard at work since taking over, new walls to replace old ones, dirt added to the track, thoughly cleaning up the grounds etc... Folks familiar with Duck River and newbys should be very impressed with the already changes and future things going on at the raceway.

Come on out to Duck River Raceway Park, LLC tonight for round #1 of the Southern Regional Racing Series 5 Town Show Down paying $3000 To-Win and 40 Laps of Exciting Racing. We will also be racing all of our regular classes. Not only will there be great racing, we'll have fireworks, jump slides for the kids, and great food.
