This Friday the UMP Summernationals Chris Smith Memorial rolls into Paducah International Raceway. The race is the highest paying race at $12000 to win on the entire tour. Look for some of the best drivers in the midwest to be here trying to win that big prize. Last years winner Ray Cook is expected to return to defend his title. Brian Shirley, Shannon Babb, Jon Henry, Rodney Melvin, Billy Moyer Jr, Billy Moyer and Ryan Unzicker have all snapped up victories so far on this years tour. All of these drivers are expected to be at PIR this Friday along with Jason Feger, Nick Bartels (all the way from California) Brandon Sheppard, Jason McBride (currently in top 10 in summernationals points) and Scott James along with many others. They will be gettting a stiff challenge from our strong local contingent including, Terry and Tanner English, Jarryd Holshouser, Chris Shelton, Tim Brown, Jason Riggs, Jeff Walston, and Randy Sellars.

Also on the racing card will be the UMP Summit Nationals for UMP Modifieds. This is the biggest purse the modifieds have run for at PIR this year with $1000 to win and $100 to start.

The UMP Street Stocks will be gunning for $500 to win on Friday

And just added the UMP Pro Late Models will also be racing this Friday at PIR

Pit gates will open at 2 with the grandstand gate opening at 5. Hot Laps will be at 630 with qualifying at 645 and racing at 730

Grandstand admission will be $25 for adults with children 12 and under $5. Pit admission will be $35
