ADRA SCHEDULE UPDATES:

Apple Grove, WV. June 25, 2012~Folks the ADRA Late Model Series presented by Suddenlink (www.suddenlink.com) is announcing schedule adjustments in response to recent developments concerning a couple of our tracks and the races we have scheduled with them. As all of you are well aware of, the economy remains a challenge for most of us. Our tracks are working hard but sometimes it gets pretty tough. The ADRA will make every attempt to assist our region's tracks in making the best of a bad situation.

Jackson County Speedway in Jackson, OH (www.Jacksoncospeedway.com) has had some financial challenges that have caused them to cancel the June 29th "Jackson 50" on the ADRA schedule. However, JCS plans to keep their Friday Aug 3rd date with ADRA as of now. That event will become the twin 25 lap features paying $1500 to win and $150 to start each with both segments counting for full ADRA points. This makes it possible to win $3000 for a victory in both segments as well as $300 to start both segments and rack up some serious ADRA points.

Any competitor who cannot make the call for the 2nd feature will be replaced by the 1st alternate in line. We will start a full field in both segments. Alternates will tag the tail in order of succession.

The October date with JCS is TBA.

Midway Speedway (www.midwayracing.com) in Crooksville, OH is going through some ownership restructuring thus causing the June 30th date we had with them for the “North vs South Battle of the Midway” to be canceled. However, we will be adding the Jim Dunn Memorial Race on Aug.12 for $5000 to win $300 to start to the ADRA schedule.

Midway Speedway will also keep their September 30 date with the ADRA for $3000 to win "Topless 40". (Brushcreek race Sept 28-29 also topless)

The Racers In Christ Ministry (www.racersinchrist.com) will provide a trackside church service at both those Sunday events.

There may be some other additions to the ADRA schedule as negotiations are pending with other tracks.

Our next 2 ADRA races will be July 13th at Muskingum County Speedway (www.themuskingumcountyspeedway.com) and July 14th at Hilltop Speedway (www.hilltopspeedway.org) for the Weekley Electric, LLC (www.weekleyelectric.com) ADRA 2012 Mid-Season Championship. Both events will be $3000 to win and $300 to start with the Champion of the 2 events receiving a $1000 bonus. The Weekley Electric ADRA Mid-Season Champion will be determined by the highest average finish for the 2 day 2 track shootout.
