need help ASAP!!! loss of power

Coming to take the green and got on gas and car just would not go. Sounded like it was down 2 cyl. or more, and felt like it had half the power. Only sounded wierd under a load.

Was told it could be that the battery could be bad. checked it today and its putting out 12.8V

What else can i look for here???

I had a msd box go bad and do this.

You can not test the battery UNLESS it is under load, have someone put the meter on the battery and while holding the meter there try to start the car and see what the voltage of the battery does. If you are at 12.8 if you drop any past 11.5 take it to a auto parts store and have them do a load test with a carbon coil load tester and see how bad it really is.

I have had batteries test at 13+ volts and fold up under load.
