1994 Taurus SHO belt...as long as you have the wide pulleys...same belt at about $50 less than what Esslinger sells you 1 for..i think the belt is $22.99 at Auto Zone and $75 at Esslinger

So how did you come up with this - have you actually tried it?
According to the Autozone website it shows that the tooth pitch of the belt is different (0.31496 on the SHO and 0.375 on a standard 2.3) Ok maybe is 0.060" close enough, but wouldn't the extra teeth on the belt - 155 on the SHO and 129 on the standard 2.3 belt be an issue.

The ultra wide is 155. Do you have round or square teeth? Either way you can use a factory belt. Factory square tooth or the round tooth ranger/mustang depending on what you have.
