ADRA DLMCS AT MUSKINGUM AND HILLTOP JULY 13 and 14!
Point Pleasant, WV.-July 10, 2012- The ADRA Dirt Late Model Championship Series presented by Suddenlink is geared up and ready for a possible $7000 to win and $600 to start weekend powered by “Weekley Electric LLC for the 2012 ADRA Mid-Season Championship”! On July 13th the ADRA DLMCS will be at Muskingum County Speedway in Dresden, OH for $3000 to win and $300 to start! Then we roar into Hilltop Speedway in Millersburg, OH on Saturday July 14th for a 2nd $3000 to win and $300 to start race! PLUS we are now up to $1500 so far in CHAMPIONSHIP BONUSES for the Weekley Electric 2012 ADRA Mid-Season Championship. These Championship Bonuses will be distributed to the highest average finishers of both nights combined! If we can find more sponsor money between now and this weekend we will add to the bonuses. We aren’t spending any of it on additional trophies: We are paying it out in cash prizes to the drivers!
The payout we have so far will be divided as follows;
Weekley Electric 2012 ADRA DLMCS Mid-Season Champ- $1000 BONUS!
1st runner up-$300 BONUS!
2rd runner up-$200 BONUS!
Other ADRA contingencies include a free tire certificate from Lias Tires for a win on American Racer Tires, a $25 product certificate from Dominator for the Hard Charger, and a 50% off product certificate for the Middle-Man Award (10th place finisher) from Double H Race Fabrications.
"This gives our racers many different payout scenarios and more chances to win money and prizes," explained Race Director Don Mercer. "This is a cash bonus 3 awesome drivers are guaranteed to take home; not an “if” or an “either or” this a definite $1500 in bonuses going to the 3 drivers that have the best average finish of both nights combined. The 1st place driver will be named the Weekley Electric 2012 ADRA MID- SEASON CHAMP! The great thing is these 2 tracks are only about 40 miles apart so travel is limited as well. All this equates to a great weekend of super dirt late model racing for our fans!"
“Racin Jason” Jameson leads the ADRA DLMCS Points coming into this week’s competition. Jameson won impressively in the 5th Annual Freedom Fighters 40 at Moler Raceway Park back in May. Scott James is 2nd. James led at Moler about half way but his tires went away leaving him in a fierce battle to hold onto 2nd with 3rd place Kent Robinson charging through the field late in the race. ”Hot Rod” Rod Conley is 4th in points as he won the 1st ever ADRA Super 8 Dash and held on to finish 4th at MRP. Conley also won the 1st ever ADRA event in 2011. Duane Chamberlain rounds out the top 5 in points after a methodical charge of his own to finish 5th after winning his heat race and starting 10th in the feature. The ADRA DLMCS runs an exciting new Super 8 Dash Qualifying format, Double-file restarts (where track size allows), and a punch 40 tire rule. All 4 tires must be either Hoosier 1300 or harder or an American Racer 44 or harder and punch 40 by the ADRA tech inspector’s durometer prior to entering the track for any part of the event including qualifying.
