i have a sweet pump and have heard that if i add my 1.5 quickener i need to change a valve in pump.
will the valve that is in there now have a number on it so i dont order the same one.
and does KRC have rebuild kits for pumps thanks oldgold

Pretty sure the Valve your talking about is the valve in the steering gear box. It changes the feel of the steering. they range from .185-.250 and yes the number is stamped in it.

Eric eric i thought it was in the pump as they make screw in valves for kse pumps

The screw in Valve in the pump will effect system pressure. Its measured by the dia of the orffice. Wouldnt think you would need to mess with that. Eric

the valve in the pump is the one you want to change. it will increase or decrease flow. you can also drill your current valve out bigger to help the flow with a quicksteer. dont mess with the valve in the box. they are sized based on the size of the torsion rod. that will affect the feel of the assist not the amount of it.
