stockcar chassis I.D.

I just bought a stockcar chassis and the owner did not know who built it, it looks to be pro built, where do diffrent builders put there ID numders at? thanks for any help

Most are numbers written on the frame with a welder. Some of the places I see the most are on the rear frame bulk head (bottom of rear firewall), Drivers seat mount, or on a front frame rail after the suspension mounts. Eric
