New Richmond, WI (July 14, 2012): The FANS Fund is nearing its goal as online donations and voting have continued at a good pace this week. We’re now over $12,100 and within $400 of our goal! We truly appreciate the support we’ve received from the fans and our sponsors (Pepsi, Cedar Lake Speedway, Johnson Motor Sales, and Mark Casey and Casey Farms).
In other news, Mark Casey and Casey Farms have come onboard as a sponsor supporting the FANS Fund T-Shirts for 2012. Mark has been a long time race fan and is excited to be able to help us out and we’re excited to have him!
Ross Camponovo has made a huge move the past couple of days as his supporters in Mississippi have been throwing votes his way and he appears to be running away with the lead. There also continues to be movement throughout the field. With a number of votes still outstanding and voting/donations going through midnight Sunday July 15th things will most likely continue to shake up before voting ends.
With this being the last weekend of our fundraising campaign we’re clearly within striking distance of our goal. We hope that fans across the country will continue to rally behind us this weekend to push us over our goal and support this great cause. We’ll also be back out at Cedar Lake Speedway once again this Saturday night as we work to move past our goal.
Donations and voting can be done online at www.FANSFund.com/donations or by clicking on the Donate tab from the home page. Voting will end at midnight July 15th, after this date donations will still be accepted but all voting will cease so we can begin to contact the drivers voted in to offer them the FANS Fund support. Fans may donate any amount they wish but to qualify for the FANS Fund luncheon and T-shirt they must donate a minimum of $25.
The 2012 and 25th Anniversary running of the USA Nationals is right around the corner, August 2nd through 4th so if you haven’t already done so, order your tickets now at “Wisconsin’s Fastest Piece of Real Estate.” Go online to order your tickets and/or campsite today at www.CedarLakeSpeedway.com.
