Hey guys, this is just a general question. I currently have a 600 in the LF and a 700 in the RF. Do you think a 700 is too stiff in the right front of a 4 bar chevelle car?

In my opinion, Yes.

Thank you for the response, in your opinion, what do you think would be better? Im open to any suggestions. I ran a 650 in the RF and a 600 in the LF to start the year off, and it seemed okay. Didnt quite have the forward bite that i wanted but the car seemed to turn nice. I wanted to try some new stuff so i swapped them and put the 600 in the RF and the 650 in the LF. I didnt like that combo as the car didnt seem like it had any forward drive. Then i decided to try this combo with the 600 in the LF and the 700 in the RF. Its very unpredictable. When it slicks off its decent but just seems to float uphill, and then when its got some grip its got a nasty little push in the middle. Im just looking for different ideas.

id go no stiffer then 600 in rf and i like lf softer then rf.....4 bar suspension in rear right??? you have so many adjustments to give the car drive

Yes on the 4 bar. I run IMCA so there isnt much tire to work with, does that make any difference?

Yes and no....everyone you race with has the same tire. just make sure they are siped.

lowering bottom bars on both sides can add drive, adding tail weight can, more LR bite, shorter pullbar, more LR drop

Now this is for me but if my car doesnt roll on the RF its junk no matter what i do, not saying my advice is right for you. If the car doesnt roll on RF it makes it alot harder to roll on the RR and sidebite is going to be very minimal. Just something to think about.

Jmo but if you go to a 650 rf spring or higher, you'll need to increase lr bite to 120 and above to get the car to work better with a lr spring behind. Good luck.
