Cave City, Arkansas (07/17/12) – The past week was a busy time for Jeff Taylor as he took his #5 Jeff Taylor Racing/Industrial Electric/Provence Construction/New Vision Graphics/Taylor Chassis/Mullins Race Engines Open Wheel Modified into battle in the 23rd Annual Dacotah Classic Modified Tour, and by the time the miniseries was complete he had won three of the five events and finished second in the final standings.

Below is a blog-style recap of the week's festivities:
July 8th, 2012 - Jeff opened the first night of the six race, Dakota Classic Modified Tour on Sunday evening at Nodak Speedway (Minot, North Dakota) as seventy competitors jammed the pit area for the program. July 9th, 2012 - On Monday night the second round of the Dakota Classic Modified Tour was held at Nodak Speedway (Minot, North Dakota), and it would be a great night for Jeff as he topped a field of sixty-seven competitors to claim his fourth win of the 2012 season! Heat race action found Jeff blasting from the sixth starting spot in his heat race to claim the win to lock into the seventh starting spot for the main event. In the feature Taylor would quickly work his way to the front of the pack, and once there drove away from the field on his way to the win, which came over Steven Pfeifer, Kevin Stoa, Hank Berry, and Mike Hansen.

July 10th, 2012 - Tuesday night took Jeff Taylor Racing north of the border to Estevan Motor Speedway (Estevan, SK) for round #3 of the Dakota Classic Modified Tour. During the course of the main event he advance eleven spots to record a fourth place finish behind race winner, Hank Berry, Steve Arpin, and Aaron Turnbull.

July 12th, 2012 - After seeing Wednesday night's program with the Dakota Classic Modified tour nixed by Mother Nature at Basin Speedway (Williston, North Dakota) the series rolled into Southwest Speedway ((not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word)inson, North Dakota) on Thursday evening. It would prove to be a great night for Jeff Taylor as he blasted to his second win in the min-series! With sixty-seven cars in the pit area Jeff blasted from the sixth starting spot in his heat race to claim the win, which locked him into the pole position for the main event. In the feature he drove away from the competition, lapping half the field to claim the victory over Brian Mullen, Allen Kent, Kevin Stoa, and Aaron Turnbull. The win was his fifth of the 2012 campaign.

July 13th, 2012 - Jeff ended the Dakota Classic Modified tour with a bang on Friday night by topping a stacked field of seventy-two competitors to register the win in the miniseries finale at Dacotah Speedway (Mandan, North Dakota).
