Peoria Speedway presents Round 6 of the Budwesier UMP Super Late Model Series tonight, paying $2,000 to-win. Billy Drake is the current Bud Series points leader, holding a 40 point lead over 2011 Track Champ Steve Lance, Jr in the chase for the $5,000 top prize. Kevin Weaver, Bobby Pierce, Scott Schmitt, Ryan Unzicker, Wes Steidinger, Jason Feger, Brian Shirley and Todd Bennett round out the top 10 in Late Model points. All but Shirley and Unzicker are scheduled to be at Peoria tonight. 64 drivers from 9 states have competed in the first 5 Bud Series races. UMP Modifieds, Limited Late Models, UMP Street Stocks, Speedway Motors Illinois Lightning Sprints (non-wing), and UMP Hornets will also be racing. Pit gates open at 3, with grandstands at 4 and hot laps at 5. Next Saturday, July 28 will be a regular racing program featuring UMP Modifieds, Limited Late Models, UMP Street Stocks, Speedway Motors Illinois Lightning Sprints (non-wing), and UMP Hornets and will be "Bollinger Racing Night" at the track, with giveaways for the fans all night long.
