IMO...I love double-file restarts, however, restarts are for big series races and big money races. Double file restarts cause big crashes that cost big money and collect multiple cars. If you want guys to run 10 races in 13 days, you need to protect equipment the best you can.

Double file restarts are big with the fans (and never hear the racers complain either) at Dixie & Rome every week. Not saying anything bad about Rays races, but I think it would be a plus. (IMO) North Ga race was kinda lame with the single file restarts.

That rarely happens.

Most drivers these days are used to double-file restarts.

Ray runs his deal from the perspective of a racer. Not sure if he'll change that.

As a racer, if you worked your way up from 20th to 10th before the first caution came out wouldn't you want a double-file restart? As a racer that is the way I would be thinking. There's no reason not to use Delaware double-file restarts, put the leader out front by himself to start the race and double them up behind him.

They used the Delaware double file restarts last night at Rome without a hitch.

seems double file starts can help and hurt you
it does promote passing
it depends on the car or cars you end up behind
