WMDTC = World Modified Dirt Track Championship
Deer Creek Speedway, Spring Valley, MN (near Wisconsin/Iowa border in southeast Minnesota)
Minimum race dates: THIS FRIDAY & SATURDAY, July 27th & 28th but you can also race and qualify this Wednesday and Thursday too.
There are currently 96 entries. 93 of them will go home with at least $400 back.
In an effort to top 100 by the time the event starts THIS Wednesday, the entry fee has been reduced to $250 if you call in your entry to USMTS at 515-832-7944 enter before Monday ends!
You do NOT have to be there Wednesday or Thursday to have a legitimately equal shot at the pole & the win! You can run Friday-Saturday only on the $250 entry fee. If you didn't hear this earlier, the race now pays $25,000 to win thanks to Hansen Tire Service! You can also race Wednesday or Thursday and skip running Friday night and then race on Saturday for that $250 entry fee if you like.
Every competitor that tries to climb the ladder in the 'alphabet soup' style finals on Saturday is guaranteed $300 back and unless there is a barrage of late entries, that minimum back is going to be $350 or more.
For an additional $100, you can get a mulligan and have Friday night as a 'do-over' if you want, after running Wednesday or Thursday night. That'll make it $350 total entry fee by Monday with a 95% chance of getting it all back plus a little extra come Saturday night. The B-main pays $600 to start and 31 cars start the $95,000 purse A-main at $1500 to finish 31st!
According to Mapquest, the ride is just 10-11 hours from the Cincinnati area.
