The Southern Regional Racing Series will be back in action after about a month long break for a double header weekend on August 3rd and 4th.
Round 1 of the double header weekend will take place at Boyd's Speedway on Friday night August 3rd. Current SRRS points leader Riley Hickman was the winner at the last SRRS event at Boyd's.
*Boyd's Speedway: All super late models must have an approved muffler on both sides (no exceptions). All cars will be inspected. No muffler = no racing. Any car that loses a muffler will be disqualified. This is a rule for BOYD'S SPEEDWAY ONLY!!!!
Round 2 of the SRRS double header weekend will take place at Volunteer Speedway on Saturday night August 4th. This is the first time that the SRRS has been Volunteer Speedway. (DRIVERS ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE WINDOW NETS FOR THIS EVENT).
**VOLUNTEER SPEEDWAY: Window net is required for all cars in all classes. Must be securely mounted with tension when fastened. Sprint Car type nets WILL be permitted. Must extend full length of window opening mounted to roll cage at B-post and A-post with quick release. Full size nets must have quick release at top.**
