Putting new car together and need a jbar. We have thought about the biscuited jbar but don't know the pros and cons of one of these as opposed to a solid bar. Can someone weigh in on this. Also If anyone wants to buy or trade for a near new aluminum bar pm me.

I have never really been a fan, but they don't seem to hurt anything. I have helped a couple of people who had them and there was never an issue.

I think they can save some parts in an accident.

Ok. But there doesn't seem to be a competitive advantage to one or the other?

I don't think so.

I agree, I do know someone that uses one on a rough track only and he uses a a custom rubber biscuit that he makes. He said that on a smooth hooked up smooth track he can feel it and he does not like it.
