ADRA Dirt Late Model Series Present The ADRA Twin 25’s Super Mixer At Jackson County Speedway

Point Pleasant, WV. July 28, 2012~On Friday, August 3rd, the ADRA and AMRA sanctions presented by Suddenlink will do battle at Brad McCown’s Jackson County Speedway in Jackson, Ohio. Two features with each paying a purse of $1,500 to win each and $150 to start giving the drivers a chance to come away winning over $3,000 or a minimum of $300 to start both features. Both AMRA and ADRA drivers will get points for both races. This format amounts to both AMRA and ADRA awarding double points for the night’s event. There will be no AMRA fees for this event. The ADRA has no membership fees. The top 10 in ADRA Championship points will have a no entry fee. For all others only a $40 entry fee applies. It just doesn’t get any more affordable for our regions Late Model stars to get a legitimate shot at well over $11,000 cash and points for both ADRA and AMRA! Drivers from all over the region will be filing in for this 1st of its kind inaugural event.

The ADRA tries to make every show as fan friendly as possible as well as challenging to the drivers. The Twin 25’s Super Mixer will be no exception. Hot laps and one lap qualifying will go as usual. We will also present the fan favorite “Super 8 Dash” where the top 8 qualifiers transfer into the feature on qualifying times but will redraw on the front stretch for their dash starting positions. A 10 lap dash will determine the top 8 starting positions in the first feature. All other cars will compete in 10 lap heat races where the top 2 - 4 (depending on car count) transfer to the feature. Last chance 12 lap B-mains will determine the remainder of the field. There will be 2 provisionals for this event with Jason Montgomery and Greggie Oliver having first dibs as a result of their 1st and 2nd place respective finishes in the ADRA Qualifier on July 6th. All restarts in the A-main features will be Delaware Double File until 5 to go in each segment.

Here is where the” Mixer” comes into play: During driver introductions for the 1st segment, a group of young fans (which previously will win redraw duties via a youth ticket drawing to be held prior to introductions) will be redrawing on the front stretch with their respective driver for the starting order of the entire field for the 2nd 25 lap feature. A driver could start anywhere in the field. Any car not able to make the call for the 2nd feature will be replaced by the 1st nontransferring entry from the B-mains. Both segments will start a full field of at least 18 cars minimum. Also, for the ADRA drivers, 2 bonus points per position improved in the 2nd feature will be awarded toward their championship total. To make it interesting, several businesses are sponsoring lap leader contingencies, fast time awards, and hard charger awards, so a lot of extra money is on the line above the posted purse as well as assuring every non-transferring driver that starts a B-main a minimum of $100. The cash opportunities and championship point scenarios are virtually endless!

For AMRA, this is the only track running AMRA LM on Friday.
Again, we thank Jackson County Speedway for hosting this first of its kind ADRA Super Mixer. We here at ADRA thanks the tracks, fans, sponsors and drivers for supporting our efforts to make this a great regional series for the Ohio/WV/KY area.
