(Macon,IL) Saturday, August 11th, will be a celebration of the loyal fans of the Mighty Macon Speedway. In appreciation, fans will be treated to a full night of racing at one of the nation's most action packed speedways for half price admission!
Kid's Castle/Cromwell Radio Group Fan Appreciation night will truly be a night for the fans. In addition to half price admission, there will be fan give-aways and a special 10,000 nickle drop for the kids. Kids will be split into three age groups for the opportunity to cash-in on the front stretch . A total of 10,000 shiny nickles will be dropped on the black Macon clay for kids to fill their pockets from the historic 1/5 mile oval.
The fast and furious action that has thrilled fans for the last 67 years will be on tap and will feature the ground pounding UMP Super Late Models, Billingsley Towing Modifieds, UMP Street Stocks, UMP Sportsman, And the always entertaining Pro and Amateur Hornets.
Macon Speedway offers fun family entertainment every Saturday night April through September. With many exciting events throughout the season, this one is sure to be a fan favorite! Gates are set to open at 5pm, with racing action slated to begin at 7pm. Fan Appreciation admission will be only $6 for this event, with kids 11 & under free!
