Daniel Baggerly Salvages Top Ten Finish at Wythe Raceway
(RURAL RETREAT, VIRGINIA) Daniel Baggerly and the #16 B&B Motorsports team rejoined the Ultimate Super Late Model Series tour on Saturday night, August 4 at the nearby Wythe Raceway in Rural Retreat, Virginia. Daniel timed in ninth fastest during the qualifying session and later won his consolation race to earn the inside fifth row starting spot for the $4,000 to win A-Main. "Bagz" was then on the move early in the 40-lapper, as he climbed up to sixth in the running order, but unfortunately encountered problems under the hood as the race wore on. Daniel wound up pulling into the infield, but was still scored in the tenth finishing position. Complete results from Wythe Raceway can be accessed online at www.ultimatesupers.com.
The B&B Motorsports team is now primed for a rare weekend off from Dirt Late Model competition on August 10-11. Their next race will be with the Ultimate Super Late Model Series on Saturday evening, August 18 at the historic Toccoa Speedway in Toccoa, Georgia.
