I have never clamped the left rear but was gona try it this weekend but when i put the LR shock on a clamp bracket it throws my ride hights off and the left rear is hiked up just sitting here. do i need to back the spring off and reset Ride hieghts, i have read when their is moisture in the track that clamping the LR will improve the throtle response....Any help would be appreciated

Yes. You must reset your ride height. When this was a common setup, there were birdcages that allowed you to attach the same shock mount to the cage or a clamped ring. You pretty much kept the same wedge then, but still needed to reduce it as you start with less wedge on a clamped lr setup.

i have been running with about 140lb of bite with the shock behind and seems to work well so would i keep the same amount of bite when trying the LR clamped

This will let you lose some traction,so car woll turn better.

If you run the same setup besides moving the lr to the clamp, you will have a bad throttle push. You are putting the spring ahead of the axle on the clamp, correct?

no behind the axle, but having second thoughts about trying it. the car has been pretty good but just wanted to see if i could get some more out of it,with all the rain we had this week i thought that it might just have some moisture thru the feature

That would loosen the car quite a bit.
