The Fairbury American Legion Speedway will be hosting a special Wednesday night of racing in conjunction with the 136th Annual Fairbury Fair this coming Wednesday, August 15th. This regular night of racing will feature the UMP Late Models, UMP Modifieds, and UMP Street Stocks. This will be the last night of points for the Street Stocks. Start times will be moved up 1/2 hour on Wednesday and 1 hour on Saturday (August 18).
Fair Admission: $3
Gate Admission: $10
Pits: $25
Hot Laps 5:20 p.m., Qualifying 6:00 p.m., Racing immediately following qualifying
Children 12 and under free when accompanied by a paying adult.
New for 2012: 3rd street (main) gate will be for PITS ONLY. This means ONLY RACE CAR RIGS/TRAILERS will be allowed to enter the 3rd street gate. Fans in passenger cars and motorhomes will need to use the south 1st street gate (or park at Westview school or on the street). The 2nd street gate will NOT be open for the fair week.
The speedway is located three blocks south of U.S. 24 on 3rd St. in Fairbury, IL (at the fairgrounds). For more information visit www.fairburyspeedway.com. In case of inclement weather on race day, please monitor the track site forum for the latest event information.
