Anyone know how to make these any stronger? I am not a fan of the c-clips..

Moser and Strange (probably others too) make a kit to eliminate the c-clips. Simply input gm 7.5 c-clip eliminators in a search engine and ta-da! Or look in a Summit catalog for them too.

Honestly have never run them personally, but they basically turn the axles into a 9in style semi-floater.

Yeah the c clip eliminators I have seen, from what I have read and heard though, they don't handle the circle track enviroment well, they are more for drag racing..? It would be so much easier and safer to run the 9 in at our track..but of course that would be a wise choice they won't make..

Strange engineering makes a circle track c clip eliminator.

Depending on what your rules allow, you can also do a ford axle conversion on the 7.5 and what you end up with is a hybrid gm/ford rearend that is very strong, but still lighter than a 9"

We build these type of rearends for the IMCA Southern Sportmods, but they have also found their way into some stock body classes as well around Texas.

If you would like more info, feel free to give me a call.
