Jerry Goodwin Challenge To Beat Cancer Has Grown
Eastaboga, AL (August 20, 2012) – The "Jerry Goodwin Challenge To Beat Cancer" event has grown even larger. Legacy Environmental Process, principals Mike and Michelle Combs, Jimmy Mulvaney, has joined in with the Jerry Goodwin Family and Chris Mullinax to slate the 2nd Annual "Jerry Goodwin Challenge To Beat Cancer". Not only will the Super Late Models have pole qualifying, the Sportsman and Crate Late Models have been included. This event will also have a Quick Six for the Super Late Models, Crate Late Models and Sportsman Divisions. Each division will also have elevated purses. This is a huge event in honor of Jerry Goodwin. Quick Six will purse will be $125 - 1st Place, $100 - 2nd Place, $85 - 3rd Place, $75 - 4th Place, $65 - 5th Place and $50 - 6th Place on top of the Feature Event Winning for Super Late Model, Crate Late Model and Sportsman. No Entry Fee! Regular weekly Pit Admission and Grandstand Admission!
The "Jerry Goodwin Challenge To Beat Cancer" event takes place on Saturday August, 25th at Talladega Short Track. Super Late Model Winner $2,500, Sportsman Winner, $1,300, Crate Late Model Winner $1,200, Thunder Winner, $100 Bonus, Street Stock Winner, $100 Bonus and Hot Shot Winner $100 Bonus. 1st Place Trophies for all of the winners. Also in the night activities, there will be door prizes, Silent Auction and Pace Car Rides For Fans Before Each Feature Event! 100% of donations will go to Fight Cancer.
