Another Double Header Weekend for the SLMR
The SLMR Series will be in action twice this weekend as the season starts to wind down in the Malvernbank.com. “Race for the Safe.” First, on Saturday, September 1 the series will be at the Shelby County Speedway in Harlan, Iowa. Kyle Berck of Marquette won the first SLMR race at Shelby County on July 10, 2010. Last year’s scheduled SLMR race at Shelby County was rained out.
Then on Sunday, September 2, the series returns to the I-80 Speedway near Greenwood for All Star Sunday. Last year, Bill Leighton, Jr. won the SLMR race at All Star Sunday. Travis (not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word)es of Madison currently leads the SLMR point race by 56 over Justin Zeitner. Bill Leighton, Jr., Mike Collins and Mike Marushak round out the top five.
