Dillan White Sweeps Weekend Action at Moler and Lake Cumberland
Crofton, Kentucky (08/29/12) - Dillan White enjoyed a successful weekend behind the wheel of his #54 DW Motorsports/Mastersbilt/Jay (not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word)ens Racing Engine Super Late Model by claiming wins at Moler Raceway Park and Lake Cumberland Speedway.
Friday night was a great outing for Dillan as he claimed his second win of the season with a triumph in a Weekly Racing Series Event at Moler Raceway Park (Williamsburg, Ohio). Twenty competitors entered the event, and after finishing second in his heat race White started the main event in the fourth position. He would battle his way to the lead in the feature, and once out front would never look back on his way to the win, which came over Jesse Lay, John Whitney, Roger Ruark, and John Rhoades. Dillan carried his momentum from the win on Friday night into Saturday's program at Lake Cumberland Speedway (Burnside, Kentucky) as he scored his second win in as many nights. With thirteen Super Late Models entered White began his night by setting fast time to earn the pole for his heat race. He stormed to the heat race win, which locked him into the pole for the feature. In the main event he jumped to the lead early in the event and never looked back on his way to the win, which marked his third triumph of the 2012 campaign. He was followed across the finish line by David Marlar, Tommy Gregory, Johnny Wheeler, and Rod Carter, Jr. Full results are available at www.LCSpeedway.com .
