Riggs Motorsports In Action at Paducah and Lawrenceburg; Preps for Labor Day Weekend

(HARRISBURG, ILLINOIS) The Riggs Motorsports team ventured to the Paducah International Raceway in Paducah, Kentucky and the Lawrenceburg Speedway in Lawrenceburg, Indiana over the August 24-25 weekend for pair of high-profile events. Jason Riggs and Kevin Cole both traveled to PIR on Friday night for the annual running of the 'USA World 50.' The MARS DIRTcar Series and UMP DIRTcar Series co-sanctioned the one-day program and a $5,000 top prize was on the line. Jason finished seventeenth in the final rundown of the 50-lapper, while Kevin was unfortunately unable to transfer into the main event.

Scott James then invaded Lawrenceburg on Saturday evening for the $10,000 to win 'Whiskey City 50,' which was sanctioned by the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series. Scott finished sixth in his loaded heat race, but later won his B-Main to gain access into the 50-lap feature event. In front of the high-definition cameras of the Lucas Oil Production Studios, Scott wound up twentieth in the 'Whiskey City 50.' Complete results from both weekend races can be accessed online at www.dirtondirt.com.

With Jason Riggs and Kevin Cole enjoying the upcoming Labor Day holiday weekend away from the racetrack, Scott James will be the lone Riggs Motorsports driver in action. Scott is scheduled to travel to the Tyler County Speedway in Middlebourne, West Virginia on Friday and Saturday for the annual running of the ‘Black Diamond 125.’ On Sunday, September 2, Scott will tackle the famed Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio for the $3,000 to win ‘Baltes Classic.’ Additional information on these high-profile races can be viewed by clicking on www.tylercountyspeedwayonline.com and www.eldoraspeedway.com.
