I am going to try my hand on the asphalt this weekend with my IMCA dirt hobbystock. I don't have a sway bar to put on the car so i am wondering what springs would be the best up front. The track is a high banked 3/8 in Lebanon Mo. I was thinking either a 1400 RF and 1200 Lf or 1200Rf and 1000LF, i really like to charge into the corners hard. I figured since I am not running a sway bar that I need to run a little stiffer spring in the front. I race on a high banked very dry slick 1/2 mile dirt and I like the 1200 rf so the car doesn't nose over going into the corner.

not sure if your doing it for fun or full time.,,,i did the same thing the ONLY thing i changed was i added a f-41 sway bar to my metric, rf1300, lf1100, lr250, rr175,,,13" springs in the rear, 11" up front...it felt good to me i just was down on motor compared to the regulars. i was just doing it for fun also...to be honest it was kinda boring..without the ass end kicking out and gettin sideways.

I am mainly going for fun but I want to be in the ballpark on the setup. I am trying to get by without installing a sway bar.
