Detroit lockers

we've been racing with detroit locker on dirt tracks. our problem is it keeps slipping the spring, anyone ever have this problem or any suggestions how to keep it from doing this again and again?

Yes, throw away and get a regular spool. Always both wheels locked, less to go wrong. You don't need a locker.

I agree, I know several people that spent a BUNCH of money on lockers and Gleesons and all other types and all of them are back to a spool. There is far to much change in the available traction on a dirt track to be able to keep them adjusted and working correctly.
