Over $50,000 Dollars in Purse Money, Lap Sponsors, Contingencies & Bonuses this Friday for FASTRAK'S 2nd Annual Bill Hendren Memorial at Cleveland County
(Four Oaks,NC) Bill Hendren was one of the people that stood behind the "vision" Stan Lester had of the FASTRAK Racing Series some 9 years ago when it came to fruition. This weekend will be the 2nd year in a row "The Nations First & Premier Pro Late Model Series in the County" the FASTRAK Racing Series better known in the southeast/mideast region as the FASTRAK City Chevrolet Touring Division is to be the official sanctioning body of this event and prepares to go to battle as the "Rockstars" of FASTRAK after successfully completing an eventful 2 day weekend at Wythe Raceway at the 9th Annual Pro Late Model Nationals will go at it again as Steve Hendren, Tami Mullis & Stan Lester promote the 2nd Annual Bill Hendren Memorial for 50 laps paying $4,000 to win to be held at Cleveland County Speedway & Motorsports Complex in Lawndale,NC this Friday night September 7th. "It's an event that's already gotten bigger and stronger than last year and its still building momentum before this Friday as right now we're at over $49,000+ in Purse Money, Prizes, Lap Money, Contingencies and Bonuses throughout the event this weekend at this SPECIAL RACE to many many drivers fans and teams." quoted Tami Mullis General Manager of the 4/10th mile facility nestled in Lawndale,NC. “Bill Hendren was certainly a big part of the success of FASTRAK. He was always at National Tech meetings at our banquets. He helped train tech people within the FASTRAK system and was instrumental in the development of our 750 HP Super Late Model spec engine. Bill was always on the Internet helping people with engine tech and issues. I am honored that Ms. Hendren, Steve and Mike would allow us to do this event. I truly look forward to doing this event again like last year and it's shaping up to be bigger & better in 2012 as well Fans need to be there and bring a chair just in case the stands are full.” said FASTRAK Founder Stan Lester.
Also as an extra bonus, and a chance for fans and friends to participate, we are currently taking donations for lap sponsors. Each lap of the race is open for sponsorship. Multiple sponsors for laps are welcome, so don't worry if the lap you want has already been purchased. Feel free to make any request for the lap you'd like to sponsor, and we'll keep it interesting. Feel free to message Tami Mullis or myself, and we will get you added to the list. We have collected over $1,000 to in lap prize money.
