EQ SR Heads

Anyone tested the difference between the EQ SR head vs OEM legal heads on a 500 carb motor for the IMCA Stock Car? I built a 500 carb motor ( left overs) for a loaner car we have and it's not far off the 350 carbs.

^he builds a really good 500 carb motor, and very reasonably priced. Watched a few of his engines win this season. His camshaft seems to work really well.

Depending on the OEM head, most of them are junk 487x is OK, but not anything close to the EQ if you work them properly and within the rules.

Flat milling is legal so I guess the guy that is smart about getting his 10:5 CR might be 30-40hp better than the rest. What you get on the burette is not always equivalent to what you get on fuel burn in the cylinder when it is all happy.

What is the rule on GAS?

What intake manifold u running an what heads on your put together left-over motor???
