Looking for suggestions for front spring rates on a 3200lb metric car? Typically on a 1/4mi. track I run 850RF and 950LF and win regularly. Any ideas will be appreciated.

Just thought I might have to stiffen things up a bit do to bigger track and more momentum thru the corners and was curious as to how much more?

I went with the same set up about 7 years ago, at it was TIGHT. The tires make a big difference, and the front end settings need to be close, or that will show up also. I would probably stiffen up a little, but not a lot. maybe 100 lbs. or so. It is more momentum, but the corners are sweeping, so it isn't as big a difference as you think.

OK, thanks for your advise. I was actually thinking a 50 to 100lb increase and just couldn't make up my mind. Thanks Again

You going for the big show next week? What car do ya drive? I had hoped to have mine back together and raced before now so I could go. But its not looking like thats gonna happen so odds are ill be there spectating. Good luck with the metric there is usually only 1 or 2 that make the show.
The people I know that race there race cameros and they run 1100lf and 12rf.
