Night #1 of the 2nd Annual Rockabilly at NEA Speedway Nixed by Rain

Harrisburg, Arkansas (08/07/12) – With over twenty-five COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) Super Late Models already in the pit area, series officials were forced to cancel the opening night of the 2nd Annual Rockabilly at NEA Speedway (Harrisburg, Arkansas) shortly before hot laps as severe weather approached.

The event will now see the second night held as scheduled on Saturday evening, September 8th as a $3,000-to-win/$300-to-start, CCSDS Super Late Model event will be held.

Open Wheel Modifieds will now see their format revised as they were originally scheduled to compete in a two-day, $2,000-to-win/$300-to-start event. With the show now reduced to one day the Open Wheel Modified competitors will now compete for $1,000-to-win/$150-to-start. The entry fee is $50.

New entries are welcome in all divisions, and all classes will redraw.

Action starts on Saturday night at 6:30. General admission ticket prices will be: Saturday night - $20 for adults, $10 for children 6-12, and free for children 5 and under. Pit passes for Saturday night will be $30 for adults, $15 for children 6-12, and free for children 5 and under. For information on the facility, please visit www.NEASpeedway.com .
