Southern All Stars at Tazewell Cancelled for Sept 8th, event will NOT be made up
HUNTSVILLE, AL (September 8, 2012)—After two straight weekends of rain, the Tazewell Speedway and the Southern All Stars Dirt Racing Series are unable to get the Fourth Annual Buddy Rogers Memorial event in. The event has been cancelled due to heavy rains that pounded the high banks about 12:45 this afternoon.
After much consideration, the event will be cancelled and will not be made up for the 2012 racing season, there was not a suitable make-up date for either parties involved. The series will turn their attention to the Cleveland Speedway in Cleveland, TN next Saturday September 15th for the Grant Adcox Memorial paying $3,500 to win the 40 lap main event.
